Since 2024, the Adding Value Through the Legacy of Leadership Irsik Match has honored Steve Irsik's legacy by multiplying support for the next generation of Kansas leaders. Thanks to the continued generosity of the Irsik and Flax families, the tradition continues in 2026. This fall, up to $25,000 in new gifts will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling their impact on the KARL experience. In the past two years, donors responded to the challenge with nearly $90,000 in gifts. Traditionally, Garden City hosts Associates for their first seminar, providing an introduction to the people, businesses and industries that showcase the breadth of economic opportunity in Southwest Kansas.

Steve Irsik believed deeply in the value of leadership, lifelong learning and creating opportunities for others. As a KARL leader and advocate, he helped shape a program built on the idea that leadership isn't simply something we gain, it's something we carry forward.

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
Between August and December 1, up to $25,000 in new gifts will be matched 1:1. One-time contributions or recurring pledges can be made online. Every gift made through the Irsik Match also counts toward Together We Thrive, KARL's $5 million comprehensive campaign to secure a strong and sustainable future for the program.
