Earlier this month the KARL team attended the International Association of Programs for Agricultural Leadership's (IAPAL) annual meeting in Indianapolis, IN. IAPAL is comprised of more than 40 programs in the U.S. and around the globe. IAPAL programs are all deeply rooted with the Kellogg Foundation dating back to the mid 1950s.
It was an amazing week alongside our colleagues as we learned, toured, were inspired, and brought home new ideas for our Program. We are thankful to work with those who are passionate, believe in agriculture, others, leadership, rural, and how we can do better each and every day!
KARL is pleased to announce this inaugural Gun Raffle! This is an opportunity to win one of two quality fire arms while supporting a great cause. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn Tuesday, November 30, 2021 via Facebook Live Event.
Proceeds support Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership (KARL) Program and Class XV's continued journey!
For 20 years, the KARL Program has hosted a Sporting Clays benefit in memory of Dan Snyder of Lyons, KS. Dan served as a board member from 2002-2008, and as chairman in 2007-08. Dan was instrumental in starting this annual event which is now one of the longest standing fundraisers for the Program.

I am honored to be a current member of Class XV. First and foremost, it has opened my eyes to what happens in agriculture and rural communities across our great state of Kansas. I was encouraged to apply by several friends that have been through the program. They said it was one of the best things they have ever done! I can attest that I have been both personally and professionally challenged to look for ways to better myself and my local communities. KARL has such great leadership involved and does a tremendous job of showing us the different successes and opportunities occurring across our state. Our role of going through KARL is to figure out how we can learn from the success of others and apply it to our own home towns so we can remain vibrant for future generations. My fellow classmates are all very talented in their own right and from all over the state and I have loved getting to know each of them. JJ Bebb Mound Valley, KS
