2022 – Here we come!
CARPE DIEM.
We all have some choice words to describe this past year. It has certainly been a roller coaster ride!
Challenges we encounter usually make us stronger. Through it all, there comes a time when we realize, sooner or later, relationships are a huge part of the brightness in our lives.
KARL offers more than just a two (plus) year experience for each class. It creates a network that connects us together for a greater good, oftentimes beyond what we may have ever thought possible. KARL is a network for not only our personal gain, but also for the strength of who we become as a team -- for our families, friends, co-workers, colleagues, employers, employees, our very own souls that are stronger through the give and take we wrestle with every day.
At the hand of our own challenges and those of others, we find new opportunities and innovation, relationships that breed ideas and spark action, a force that makes us better for ourselves, each other, and the future. We seize today whatever it takes to build a better tomorrow.
We are so grateful for the alumni and stakeholders who make up the KARL Family.
May this new year be the best yet as we dive deeper into a network for connecting people and resources that can help transform organizations, communities, our state, and our world.
2022, here we come! Instead of waiting for a new year, it is our hope that a new year is waiting for EACH of US. Seize the day – EVERY day, one relationship at a time.
Sincerely, The KARL Team -Jill, Susan, Janice
One of the most important things Fellows and friends of KARL can do to help support the Program is to be alert for qualified candidates for the incoming class in 2022.
Applications are available online and will be accepted January 1 through April 1, 2022.
KARL Class XVI Application Materials
KARL needs strong candidates and to recruit them, we need your help. We are asking you to think about individuals who would be a good fit for the Program and who would be of great service for agriculture and rural Kansas. We all know leaders and potential leaders who could be an asset to our communities. Your encouragement for them to apply or a nudge to "go for it" could make all the difference. Information is available on the KARL website.
I applied for KARL to further develop my personal leadership skills. KARL challenges me to think differently and has connected me with people and resources to transform my leadership skills. I want to lead in a way to bring unity, ideas, and change to make our ranch, our industry, our community, and our state more sustainable for the next generation. To be a good leader, you have to be willing and able to adapt to change and over come diversity. I look forward to finishing my KARL experience strong with my classmates and putting my leadership skills to work.
