Opportunities for Fellows

Self-development is a lifelong pursuit. That’s why KARL continues to provide first-class leadership development and opportunities long after Associates complete their two-year program of study and become KARL Fellows.

We encourage Fellows to participate in and host Associate seminars, mentor class members, and connect with Fellows across the state at KARL networking events.
Upcoming Events

KARL Seminar Sessions

Karl Speaker Series

Fellows are encouraged to attend the KARL Speaker Series featuring high-quality keynote speakers who focus on a variety of topics related to agriculture, rural issues and leadership. This programming occurs throughout Kansas and is held in conjunction with the KARL class seminars and generally includes an evening reception, dinner and featured speaker.

karl Café

Hosted by K-State’s Dr. Vincent Amanor-Boadu, KARL Café provides a virtual educational experience for Fellows and Associates to hear and discuss current issues with featured guest presenters.

Karl & Friends Travel

International travel opportunities are available through group tours which benefit the KARL program. KARL and friends can participate in international group tours or international advance tours. One year prior to KARL Associates experiencing their international study tour, KARL supporters travel as a team to serve as an advance tour to help finalize the most beneficial itinerary for the current KARL class prior to their trip.
